I have been working at BioClinica full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    - Good starting point for anyone considering a career in pharma
    - Decent medical benefits and PTO package
    - Great way to travel the world on company dime if applicable

    Cons

    - Salaries are well below industry standards
    - There is really no Work/Life balance. Everyone is constantly overwhelmed
    - Little transparency between Business Development and Operations, ultimately leading to chaotic and unrealistic deadlines
    - High employee turnover, sometimes leaving inexperienced team members scrambling to meet deadlines

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Middle Management: Don't be afraid to tell senior management that your employees are not happy. When they start leaving for this reason, it is you that senior management is going to look at for an answer.

Senior Management: You are now a major player in the industry. However, you're not going to stay that way if you're continuing to lose some really great potential at the lower level. Stop throwing money at SME's that make you look great on paper, and start pumping it into your bottom end. At the end of the day, they're the ones creating the name for your clients.
