I worked at BlackBerry as an intern (More than a year)
Great atmosphere and work-life balance. Able to work from home. Friendly people. A good place to gain some experience and skills. Good food, good pay.
Job security can be an issue as many people were recently let go as the company is still figuring out its overall strategy. No benefits as an intern, but pay is good.
Advice to Management
Keep hiring interns. Give them an opportunity to come back full time in the future. Don't hire engineering students (they weren't even Computer Engineering) for developer roles, hire computer science students.
