Current Employee - Senior Technical Consultant  in  San Francisco, CA
Current Employee - Senior Technical Consultant in San Francisco, CA

I have been working at Blackstone Technology Group

    Pros

    - Is in downtown SF
    - Has good work life balance policy

    Cons

    - Company does not have a vision or a purpose
    - Don't really treat their employees with respect
    - CEO and the other partners are not leaders in the industry and really don't have a voice in IT
    - All leadership is managed upwards, middle management and programmars are treated badly
    - Work environment is very stressful, people are hired and fired quite frequently
    - Very few of the promises made at hiring will be met after you have been hired

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    - Find a purpose and vision for the company. You have been in existence for 10+ years but are still 50-60 employees
    - Take some classes on creative writing and improve your email skills
    - Please live up to your promises made during hiring
