Management is mostly hands off, so the ability to do your work and be left alone is there. Some managers will let you work from home occasionally. IT doesn't block much in the way of websites, so you have freedom to browse most of the internet during your breaks.

Management is mostly hands off, and gives little to no direction. Management doesn't effectively share information with employees. Additionally, the HR department is very disorganized, and nobody is holding anyone accountable for inaction or lack of sales.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Quit seeking out advice from the GM's and SM's. Dig a little deeper and get information from the category leads, the product specialists, the buyers, the sales people. If you want to know what's really going on in the company, go to the people that are actually running it, not the ones that are BSing or good ol' boying their way through the day. Hold the sales people accountable for SELLING. Quit changing the guidelines, and tell them to SELL. Make a structure that trickles down that shows the accountability and follow through. I'm certain you'd see an improvement on sales immediately.
