There is a rediculous amount of pressure for selling cards/mags for a minimum wage job. And even if you do make the goal and the store doesn't, you get punished for your hard work by loosing out on money. Why should I keep trying to make numbers and mags if I'm not going to get paid for the work?? There are no raises for managers or sales associates. Cooperate management is beyond rude to sales associates, ordering them around for things like their personal coffee or to look something up for them on the computers when they could do it. Managers are also rude to employees, mocking them straight to their face or talking behind their back like school girls. The computer systems are so old and out of date it isn't even funny. 25% of the problems we have with customers we could fix with computer systems even five years newer. Raising the card to $25 dollars was a horrible idea and makes it almost impossible to sell. Also if you are going to make it $25 freakin' dollars, why am I getting paid only .75 for it?? I should at least get 10% commission in that. So cheap it isn't funny

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop being greedy scum bags and spend money on things that associates need. Lower the card back to $20. Listen to sales associates in the floors of your stores. They know what you need more than you do.
