I worked at Boston Market part-time (less than a year)Pros
Decent, considering it was my first job ever. I worked there for a summer between college semesters. You get half off on meals during your shift, and I often found it rewarding to interact with customers.
I noticed that they often trained workers to become managers, so it seems like there was a decent amount of opportunity for growth at my location.
Management was okay - as with most places, it's kind of a mixed bag.Cons
For the amount of work you do, the pay doesn't really justify it. You work very hard - probably about as much as you would if you were a server - and you don't get tipped for it or anything.
I also felt like each of my managers were on slightly different pages and often contradicted each other. It made things kind of confusing.Advice to ManagementAdvice
