I have been working at Boston University School of Medicine

    Pros

A total of 17 paid holidays, outside of personal leave. Many faculty/staff are very helpful in emergencies. The scientific community is continuing to expand in programs and research which leads to collaborations between laboratories. The previous 2 years has shown cost of living raise of approximately 3% following performance evaluations.

    Cons

Funding can be difficult. Because you are part of a medical campus you ALWAYS report to work regardless of the road conditions. Difficulty for advancements in position unless a post-doc/ professor

    Recommends
    Neutral Outlook
