I have been working at Bottom Dollar Food part-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Easy to learn the ropes. Customers are pretty nice for the most part. Everyone that works with you are always very nice and easy to get along with. Also, if you ever need a day off, there is usually enough coverage that it is never a problem, unless it is a long term vacation, then you'll probably be questioned but just wait till you are out of your three month probation period before you go on any vacations.

    Cons

Management team could use a little work. Also, for the amount of work I do around the store, I surely do not get paid enough, but it is at least a good starting job. Lastly, its a huge pain getting carts all the time, especially when its raining, snowing or extremely hot outside. I would be nice to be more consistent with the other stores and get the quarter machines on the carts.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Communicate with other managers so you all know everyone is on the same page. Favoritism is also pretty obvious in our store. You know who the managers like and don't like. Keep it fair and if you do favor others over other employees, don't make it obvious.
