    I have been working at Bowman and Brooke full-time

    Pros

    Decent pay -- middle of the road. Varies by location. Some locations are lower, below average for their city / region. Decent opportunities for very high performance associates. Much less opportunity for those outside the top few percent.

    Cons

    Officially 1,900-hour target for associates, but assumption is that associates who wish to move forward will bill at least 2,000 every year. Likely 10 - 12 year track for partnership. Bonuses disappointing even in high-revenue years. Cut-throat client generation and accounting. Partners take business from partners, and partners take business from associates.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Spend less money on silly extravagance / frills and more on people: training, billable relief for job-related improvement, billable relief for pro bono, etc.
