I have been working at Bright Horizons Family Solutions (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great benefits, meet with whole staff once a month for training and other, requesting time off is easy going, 15 minute breaks twice and hour lunch breaks, off on all major holidays. You get to have fun south children all day. You can also help organize events and develope management skills through it.

    Cons

Move children around to send teachers home. Try to keep numbers high by sending teachers home. Only 45 minutes for planning, 30 for infant teachers, get sick a lot! A lot of stress! Not enough communication with supervisors

    Advice to Management

Suggest not taking infant teacher out of classroom, and then sending a float in replacement. Parents kept asking why their infant kept having to go into different classroom, and as teachers we try to send children infants that will adapt not the one's that will have a hard time. I would suggest giving each other feedback, and understanding that it is a gift so that the directors can be the best they can be, and so the teachers can all be satisfied, and give 100%
