I have been working at BrightScope full-time
The company culture is a great one. It's obvious that they care about the morale of their employees. Management is very focused on developing their employees. If you work hard and show determination, it is rewarded. Although the company is growing, it maintains the start up feel, which eliminates office politics and allows individuals to focus on actually working hard and developing.
Management has a hard time evaluating performance and roles may not be strictly defined, but this could be due to the growth and changing of roles.
Advice to Management
Keep up the company culture and start up feel! I would also recommend a standardized way of evaluating performance.
