I have been working at Brink's, Incorporated full-time (more than 10 years)

Checks havent bounced yet but hey give it another year or so and who knows what will happen. I have worked with some truly inspiring people and made some great friends!

Another annual increase in health care is on the horizon so hourly employees who average 14.00 dollars a hour will now pay around 700.00 a month for the family plan.

The company has not resumed meaningful contributions to our 401k program they promised after cancelling our pension.

Brinks has also ceased paying overtime to its truck employees so everything after 45 hours for the guys who risk their lives daily is paid as straight time while our CEO was awarded total compensation of 5.4 million last year.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

This is directed at upper management, I have no problems with effective upper management making a competitive salary but Brinks senior leadership who have helped to drive this company into the dirt continue to stuff millions of dollars into their pockets while cutting overtime for the people providing our service. Two of our most senior "leaders" have military backgrounds which is surprising because apparently they have forgotten one of the most important lessons an officer will ever learn TAKE CARE OF YOUR PEOPLE NOT FROM THEM.

To the "naysayers" keep it up,keep voicing your frustrations thru speakouts, direct access, any other way you have,do not stop letting our "leadership" know that they have failed us. Maybe its time for Brinks to unionize I mean whats left for them to take? we have the absolute worst insurance money can buy next to nothing going into our 401ks and pay raises are paltry at best we have nothing to lose.

To all the hard working managers out there busting your tail with limited resources to keep your people happy and keep our trucks on the road all the while counting every penny and hour WE APPRECIATE your efforts, you may never hear it from us in speakouts but we know there are managers out there who DO voice their employees opinions to upper management and for that i say thanks.
