    I worked at Broadcom full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    The company provides a good work life balance and good work environment for it's employees. Employees usually get a lot of freedom to implement their ideas and thoughts. Not too much workplace politics and engineers are usually busy with projects to work on

    Cons

    Lacks good top leadership. Some decisions don't make sense like acquiring the LTE assets and then shutting down the unit within 9 months of it's acquisition. Seems like the unit was just bought to jack-up the stock price after it took a plunge.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Focus on value generation and don't change leadership very often the mistake made in MPG. Create a clear mission statement that the managers can share with their teams.
