I have been working at Brooklyn Public Library full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Work-life balance and extended time off. Volunteering is a great way to get started.

    Cons

Salary is low. Great second job or for retirees. The children's area is crazy and not a good place to work.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Provide actual librarians with experience, education, and management.
