    I worked at Buffalo Wild Wings full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Quality of life, flexibility, autonomy, able to flex your abilities and learn new skills.
    The regulars and staff were like family. Great environment.

    Cons

    Pay was good but not great, benefits: Vacation, Medical was available, bonus structure was tough, no 401K or stock options.
    I never received Direct Deposit, but it was available at the end.

    My particular franchise store is closed now and will reopen in June/July 2015 in Casa Grande.
    It will be a brand new start. That family feel we enjoyed, will have to be nurtured and developed all over again.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Guests pay the bills, but unless you want to be continually training staff find the good, weed out the bad or train and mold them to be good and make everyone (staff and guests) happy and you will have smooth sailing. This takes time, so be willing to commit to it, shape it and make it your own. Have pride of ownership and take pride in what you do.

    In this career, you have to care. You have to truly care about people and want to create an atmosphere of enjoyment.

    If you care about people and what you do you've already won. Keep up the good work.
