Burlington Coat Factory

I have been working at Burlington Coat FactoryPros
-Day went fast
-You manage your time and your length of lunches and bathroom breaks (no one breathing down your neck, really relaxed and understanding)
-Very small chance of getting fired (they would not even fire no shows)Cons
-not leaving until 2 hours after the store closes due to fitting room clothes needing to be put back (it does not have to be your department, you will stay till ALL are clean.
-not enough employees to cover the store (maybe 5)
-the trashy people they would hire when they would get desperate (they do not drug test and barely interview)
-the dirty store (clothes all over the place when it is busy) and old computers
-you wont get a raise, seriously.....
-lifting 100s of lbs (cribs, huge boxes of shoes, big racks of clothes) you have to be fit to work the departments and will need great shoes for the hours you stand.Advice to ManagementAdvice
Once emlpoyees have finished their responsiblities let them go home to their families, not help some person who slacked off all day and will most likely quit tomorrow. Also connect your shoes instead of having thousands of mismates, you are losing a lot of money by thinking that it looks trashy to have them connected. Lastly, you need more then 5 employees to cover 5 departments, a fitting room, security and four cash registers. Besides that .... it was my favorite job thus far.RecommendsApproves of CEO
