A great team that cares about the content, the reporting, and the company. The site has a great reputation – so it's a nice line on the resume.
The president fancies herself as a great leader, yet the dictatorial way she manages the staff and the company is a tremendous de-motivator. She’d rather tell people what to do, instead of asking them to think, encourage their contributions, and allow them to have pride in their work. Her authoritative demands, though delivered with a warm and engaging tone, practically drowns people into unwanted submission, inertia, and eventual frustration. If you’re early in your career, join BI as you’ll have great experiences that will help grow your skills. Don't stay too long, or you'll find yourself as a cog in the wheel of a company with a bright and shiny exterior and slightly rotten inner workings.
