Former Employee - VA Benefits Adviser in Camp Pendleton, CA

I worked at CACI International full-time (more than an year)

Used to be a fun and rewarding position. Good benefits. Great co-workers. Great for veteran retirees who don't have many service connected disabilities.

Disorganized. Promised pay raises and bonuses never came. Pay is not competitive to contractor counterparts in DoL, DoD, or other Dept of VA. Advertised as salary, but paid according to amount of hours worked. Very high attrition. Position answers to CACI, Calibre Systems, Dept of VA, Dept of Defense, and host military branches.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be honest with new hires. Treat your employees with the earned respect and professionals they deserve. Stop manipulating employee hours worked. Stop gaming the system while not rewarding employees.
