    I worked at CAS full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    Excellent Benefits, 401K matching is superior, Time off is good, relatively nice non-management colleagues.

    Cons

    Dreadful management that make you feel like you are never good enough. Promotions occur without merit and personal growth is non-existent. CAS doesn't value you as a person but you are someone to fill an opening until they need to do it again. Mission of the company is good but being in the sales division it is clear that the mission is just a facade. If this is the only job you can get, then take it but otherwise take something else where they actually care about you. How are you going to run a sales team that has a capped total compensation (including base) at just over 100K even if they bring in a large revenue accounts!!!! Rethink it guys! New members are given inadequate training opportunities and they shuttle away good staff. My east manager was difficult and the west manager is worse and it shows.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Leave. Bring in new blood that understand the market and can inject new life into the company. Existing VPs and Directors are mostly in a bubble and have no concept of how their products fair against the competition. Bring in managers that actually know what the H*ll they are doing. Not some glorified sales reps.
