    I worked at CDI as a contractor for more than 3 years


    The local CDI crew was good and did their best to look out for us and not micromanage. Starting pay was enough to keep the electricity on.


    Corporate was very corporate, requiring quarterly training for matters which often had no relevance to the position. Annual reviews required an informed manager-employee interaction that was rarely there at all. Pay rate to bill rate ratio was extreme and left me feeling severely exploited.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Employees have no particular reason to feel loyal to the company--there's an inescapable feeling of being just a number in a spreadsheet somewhere. Local management, even without a large amount of interaction, does a very good job of making us feel part of a crew.
