I have been working at CEB full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Great company to work for especially if you're straight out of college and want to work in consulting. You have exposure to top tier companies as clients and will be regarded as a trusted advisor. Also there is always the opportunity to move around in the company if you're not sure what role best fits you. This is great place to start a career as you'll gain a lot of skills depending on your role. CEB also has a CEB University so you can take classes to up skill yourself as well. People at CEB are very interesting, nice and you will make a lot of friends at this company. Also, there is a good work-life balance for the most part and they are flexible with working options if you've been in the company long enough (2-3 years).

    Cons

Very process oriented from a succession planning standpoint. Even if you've done everything correctly throughout the year, you may have a negative review just because a step in the "process" wasn't followed which to me seems contradictory if you're serving the client properly and have delivered great value. You will move up fairly easily (again depending on your role) the first few years but after that it seems like you hit a wall and can't move any further.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be less process driven and be opened to implementing new ideas.
