I have been working at CNN full-time (More than 5 years)

It's nearly impossible to find a news organization with more resources than CNN. With the four networks and the growing digital empire, there are still plenty of jobs and opportunities for growth. If you don't like one job you can always move to another division. Pay is better than people think, but you have to shop yourself around to get that pay boost.

The hours are grueling and your personal life gets pushed to the side. CNN is definitely a place where quiet people go unnoticed. If you think good work alone will get you noticed - then this is the wrong place for you. It's full of alphas so you have to flex your muscle and shout to be seen. Keep your head down and do your work - is NOT a mantra for CNN.

    Advice to Management

Hire more people so people don't have to work so many 24-hour shifts!
