I worked at COUNTRY Financial full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Offered a computer, an office, and use of office secretary. Paid a base salary. Offered a co-op on leads that you bought, mostly 50%. Paid for training and all travel expense with that travel.

    Cons

Small commissions, Reduced base if missed production goals. Incompetent managers. refusal to advertise as a company in the local market. "Good old boys" club atmosphere. The highest prices on Auto and Home in the area. Only interested in clientele that has perfect credit.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Not sure how the company decided never to advertise and though that's a great idea. If the prices are so high no one will do business with you. Don't have to be a Geico, but try to spend about 50,000 in the local market a year and lower prices to attract more clients, not just the rich and perfect credit folks.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
