Meeting new people
Potentially okay for those who need balance between personal and work life.
The salary is a completely dissatisfying when compared to its competitors and the only one that really makes an decent amount yearly is the Store Manager. The annual raises that employees are granted every year are also incredibly trivial to those who are making minimum wage or close to it. Once minimum wage increases, their raises become mostly insignificant. Of the three years I've worked there, the annual raises were quite dissatisfying.
Most employees that sent out on the floor are sometimes NOT capable of finishing the tasks that they are given due to the time restraints and busyness of retail. This is something management needs to understand and NOT attempt to scold employees because of this.
There is a lot of drama that occurs and there is a lot of "Favoritism" especially to those who are unreliable, but this is usually the way retail works in general. The problem that should be noted are those who work hard and FINISH their jobs only to be discarded aside and have hours cut.
Advice to Management
The management below Store Manager also needs quite some restructuring. While I do know that any place may have good and bad management, it's VERY disappointing when you have some unreliable people in these positions.
