    I worked at CVS Health full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

    Weekly payment, Food food and more food, Laid back atmosphere because nobody really cared just there for the pay check , Easy work, break room was newer and upscale even though the place was not, easy to get hired. Making new friends to keep sane, Near some good restaurants in Solon, elevator.

    Cons

    WHERE DO I BEGIN?? Let me start by saying this: keep looking, you have been warned, this place is toxic and dying a slow death! I will not say that I worked at Cvs Caremark Enrollment Med D because I didn't. Yep, you heard right, for 2 and a half months I went in to outdated dirty dingy CVS and Sat (yes I got paid to sit) for 8 hours watching others work and do their jobs ("shadowing" was what they called it). Training was terrible, we took tests that were supposed to "test" our knowledge however, that is kind of pointless when the test we were given were the wrong test resulting in everyone failing. On top of that, they give you 3 times to pass. Also CVS is so pathetic that to get to the test, we had to type in the address in the address bar: www.//// htps: & 77 {test} (example) each time who does that? There is the link button like a normal place of employment? Oh did I mention that the trainers were clueless so it was the blind leading the blind. After training, we SAT with employees this time for a whole 8 hours, some nice and felt our pain of having to sit like a bump on a log, others could care less and did not want to be bothered with attitudes, big lashes, flashy nails and quick weaves galore! Did I mention as new hires, we didn't have desks to be placed in after training? We shared desks, some workers had two desk but still refused to give one up to new hires. The management were clueless, SO clueless that they would avoid eye contact so they did not have to answer any questions. Did I mention that the only time management spoke to new hires was to ask us what system access we had ( why don't YOU know this)? This was an everyday occurrence with two sometimes four managers asking one after another in the same day, multiple days in the week. When they did give you work, they sat you with somebody where you "shadowed" without informing you that you will be doing that same job the next day. So when you came in the next morning, you would see your name on an e-mail stating that the job now belongs to you and that you are responsible for it. Great? NO, because they didn't think to give you the necessary access to do the job. So you have work after two months for sitting, you have a job to do but you still can not do it because you do not have access to do the job. Did they help? Ha, take a wild guess.... Well good question... and the answer is no. They give you the run around and avoid you. Did I mention that they continued to ask what schedule we wanted and when we finally were days away to get our schedule, they let us go :) We received an email late at night stating that they no longer needed us due to "slow work".. well thank you and good night! CVS med D Solon will be back in sanctions because they are on a slippery slope with no grip.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Please do not waste people's time every again. People are not test dummies we have families, lives, emotions. I noticed that you picked a certain TYPE of person who you thought would be just happy to have a job after being unemployed for so long and would put up with this foolishness. Make sure your ducks are in a row next time you decide to hire 20 people and then let them all go after you promised our jobs were safe. Take down all the job posing's and first evaluate within while trying to remain out of sanctions before you look to hire other poor soul that is in need of a job.
