I worked at Caffè Nero full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

The people are great and some of the regular customers are very nice.

    Cons

You don't get paid overtime, the wage is lousy, not enough staff to cover the workload, serving three people at a time is horrible I was so mentally and physically drained most of the time I have broken down and cried. You are on your feet all day sometimes for 12 hours ( sometimes more) and only get a 20 minute break which is not enough. Also not being paid to come in in your own time for training is ridiculous.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay your staff what they deserve or at least pay them for their overtime because you cannot clean the whole shop in the time you are expected to do it in we don't earn very much as it is and being cheated out of our hard earned money is very upsetting no wonder there is a high staff turnover

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
