I have been working at California Culinary Academy full-time (more than an year)Pros
You have a lot of free time to browse the internet. Sometimes you will get some free food from students as long as you make sure Peter Lee does not see you or else he will get you in trouble.Cons
They want you to dial over 200 dials per day, the job description says 100 but that is flat out disregarded.
They are run by an unethical and greedy corporation that just tries to coerce people into taking out huge loans for a school they do not even need to go to and promises them they can fufull their dreams which is flat out false.
You are given leads, which you then have to call every single day until you talk to them or are given lists of old leads which date as far back as two to three years old and are called several times per day.
The director of admissions is down right rude and does not approve anyones vacation time ever. It is very difficult to get time off.
The job is extremely boring and redundant, not worth the money, and if you are going for a sales role this is not the one you want.
All of management treats you like garbage, everyone in the school looks down on you, the company as a hole is failing miserably and it is all your fault.
Also, absolutley no upward mobility, It is almost impossible to get promoted or even a raise.
STAY AWAY FROM ACCEPTING A JOB OFFER FROM THIS COMPANY I CAN GUARENTEE YOU WILL REGRET IT.Advice to ManagementAdvice
Set realistic goals, more reps does not equal more enrollments. Also, fire Peter Lee, he is an absolute cancer to the organization and does not accomplish anything except lowering morale of the staff as well as showing no gratitude towards his employees. The receptionist put in his 2 weeks after 6 years of service to CCA and was asked to leave on the spot, with no recognition for the service he had put in.Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEO
