I worked at Campus Advantage full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    No micromanagement. Fast paced.

    Cons

Leadership is poor. HR is not on your side and incredibly unprofessional. You'll hear things you should not know during hallway conversations. They keep management roles who have known the senior leadership for years (personally) or the people who have lax moral code and do not question the low standard to which they do business. The staff is superb, but are a conveyor line. They do only what they know to do. Communication within the company is extremely bad.

The CEO is so far in the dark, I'm surprised he hasn't walked into a wall. The leadership keep vital information from him because they screwed up in some capacity or another and while there are very smart people working in the senior leadership; they are back stabbing, and if you are not part of the boys club, forget it.

If you are a female professional, you will not make it with this company. They fire all female leaders, from project leads to controller to vice presidents.

Currently, they are getting rid of at least one person a week. You will last only about a year with this company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stick to your standard operating procedures. Matter-a-fact, create some. Senior leadership: You are no longer a start up, stop running the company by the seat of your pants.

Take an interest in your employees, they are miserable- especially the core of your company- accounting. You are running off all the amazing talent.
