I worked at Canada Ministry of Transportation as a contractor (Less than a year)

great pay, great hours, monday to friday work only

They only want to hire pt staff now unless you are bilingual . Mostly they hire on contract as what they call a temporarily fill in employee. They spend millions yearly to train these contract workers only to let them go in 3 - 6 months and start the process all over again. High Turn over rate at their headquarters. The managers are ok except for one to watch out for.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees better., and Roll over the contract workers to permanent positions instead of wasting millions of dollars in training staff that you never keep anyways
