I worked at Canadian Western Bank full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

When you talk about corporate culture, this is a shining example of where you would like to work. Big Business corporation that feels closer to your local family owned business. Very caring and friendly work environment.

    Cons

Can be hard to stay motivated. Banking feels like the closest equivalent to government when it comes to bureaucracy.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Focus on what made you great, but don't be afraid to change. The company is beginning to develop too many middle managers.

    Recommends
    Positive Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO
