    I worked at Capillary Technologies full-time (more than 3 years)


    Absolutely an end-to-end "potentially" big player. Great analytics acumen, great technology, and exactly where they need to be given market demand for the value they could deliver more frequently. EXCELLENT Marketing team, and truly, many people who'd do anything to help a peer who take exceptional pride in their work.


    Sadly, like many "potentially" great companies, the solutions driving value externally are NOT utilized internally.All that Data at their fingertips, SaaS CRM - they have no idea how to use these assets to their advantage organizationally, or more accurately, they won't use it. Behind the scenes it's chaotic, fly-by-the seat-of their pants, hair-on fire craziness. Upper management hires "friends" who get big titles, then hang-out, and do very little. On the other hand, the company attracts great people with all the right skills who deliver day after day - toiling like slaves - over compensating for those just hanging out. If everyone worked at the same level - the company might grow faster. That takes leadership.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Think about the investors contributing so much to the company's success, and those employees spinning their wheels delivering day by day with their best work, then think twice about how you lead ALL your people. Hired friends should want do all they can to help the company, if you cannot lead them beyond constant agreement with whatever you say, motivate them, or get everyone in sync, maybe it's time to re-think leadership here. It might be time check some ego's, and about time some ADULTS look closer at what's going on operationally - because the kids aren't alright at Capillary. Like a person labeled a "genius", never achieving much because they are otherwise dysfunctional - so much potential lost.
