I have been working at Capital One

I started as a PT employee, they pay pretty well. They are willing to work with you if you put in effort. Managers are pretty laid back so long as you perform. They want to help you get to the next level but the opportunities to make that move to the position.

If you plan on making more money, you won't get much thru internal promotions. Annual raises are typically cents on the dollar. Requesting a raise takes weeks to be submitted and months to get declined. People being hired from the outside into sales-focuses positions get paid tons more than those who have been promoted internally (ex i make 36k after 5 years, new hires for the same position are hired at 40k) They recently changed their sales incentinves/goals and are making it much harder for bankers and tellers to get their monthly minimums and to make decent commission

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

For people that have tenure, take care of them. Most people end up leaving Capital One Bank after 2-3 years. Anyone who is there longer, take care of them.
