I have been working at Capitol Federal Financial full-time

    Pros

Cap Fed is a stable company with a reasonably good reputation, paid holidays, decent benefits and a dependable schedule.

    Cons

Upper management relies on outdated and overly conservative strategies to mitigate risk, making actual daily operations nearly impossible. The IT department is run like it's 1990, HR is reluctant to fire employees after multiple serious violations, and the prevailing culture is one that promotes longevity over performance.

    Advice to Management

Wake up, look around, and start acting like a company that wants to be around for another 120 years. You won't make it with these antiquated policies and lack of attention to employees under 50.
