Former Employee - Autism Therapist in Hartford, CT

I worked at Capitol Region Education Council full-time for more than a year

    Pros

autistic kids are awesome and working with them is interesting

    Cons

you will get physically hurt from the children autistic children are violent they bite etc and management does nothing to protect you, management is awful and sociopathic, they won't give you benefits of any kind for ages. you will be a 'temp worker' for ages. did the job right out of college and if i could take back working there i would.
