I worked at Car Toys full-time (More than 10 years)

At every level there are honest, good, hardworking people. That two stars I posted is ONLY because of the good people that are still there. (they are slowly leaving though!)

They will continually raise a goal, even if it hasn't been hit in years! A POS system that you would not believe how difficult it is. Training is sink or swim, you're on your own. Its a culture ran by a high school clique of bullies that got their promotions due to being friends with the right person. They used to have good leadership that would listen to your ideas. Now if you have an opinion, suggestion or heaven forbid, respond with feedback that was asked for, you're viewed as a trouble maker. SHQ personnel will backlash, finger pointing, brand you as not a team thing you know, you're on the outside. The cherry on top though is Dan Brettler (owner), is MAYBE figuring out who some of these D-bags are and canning them. SO, even at the top, the rug gets yanked! and that is the culture!

    Advice to Management

When you ask for feedback and get it, don't validate its worth purely on whether the flash is looking good!
