I have been working at Carlson Companies

    Pros

Excellent learning opportunities if you are entering the food business. New and exciting product introductions at a dizzing speed. Lots to learn in a short amount of time, but you will pay the price by feeling stressed. A great place to be in to lauch a restaurant industry career.

    Cons

Lack of planning seems to turn new product introductions into chaos management. Lots of finger pointing when things do not go as planned! Long hours with some recognition for efforts.
    Some improvement in the horizon.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Some planning and setting reasonable goals may improve morale and staff retention.
