I worked at Carolina Furniture Concepts as a contractor for less than a year

    Pros

    Fellow team members were great.

    Cons

Having position continually threatened, terrible training, managers that dodged customer service issues, offensive sales techniques forced on sales team by management, lying about warrantee questions, management secretive about systems and numbers with team members, no transparency, only 5 percent commission wage no hourly, no lunch on Saturday on a 10 hour work schedule, no breaks except for lunch on an 8 and a half hour day (if not longer) on the rest of the schedule except for Sunday. Regular work through holiday or sale weekends with no lunch or breaks, etc. etc.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat your team members like grown ups who are capable of managing their own sales, pay a regular hourly wage with incentives to employees who earn it, don't insult the local populace with pushy tactics and TAKE CARE OF YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE ISSUES. Stop micromanaging every single moment of every single second of your teams.
