I worked at Carrier Enterprise full-time

    Pros

The one department runs very smoothly when other department heads and wanna be department heads stay out of the day to day operations of that department.

    Cons

Manager lets one person run the company and get away with everything from abusive language and treatment of employees to right out threats. None of the rules apply to tt person. Another manager thinks their job is just to 'manage' and be buddy-buddy with other managers, not to actually do any work.

    Advice to Management

Get a grip on the bullies in your organization and appreciate the good workers you have. Get a manager who can find his own butt without help from his secretary and who doesn't try to run departments he knows nothing about. Because you know how to sell doesn't mean you know how to manage.
