Good group of people to work with, depending on which department you're in. Interesting projects regarding robotics. Location isn't bad for most people.
The company offers an extremely poor healthcare package. The plans are expensive and coverage isn't sufficient in most situations. Performance reviews and raises are laughable at best, with the majority of employees receiving "excellent" ratings and rewarded with 2% salary increases. The major downsides are inexperienced and sub-par employees which hinder overall progress with ongoing projects. Upper management fails to focus and lead the company in the proper direction. There is little acknowledgment for employee efforts and salary ranges are below industry averages.
Advice to Management
Upper management needs to focus on the task at hand and make realistic decisions which better the company as a whole, and more importantly, the future of its employees. At the current rate, it's just a matter of time before you lose the confidence of employees in the management team. Many get the sense that layoffs are imminent.
