Decent pay, great hours, no job security.

    Pros

The hours vary slightly by state, but generally speaking they are 10-6 Monday through Friday and 10 until 2 on Saturday. Holidays are paid.

    Cons

The biggest issue is job security. There is a high turn over rate on all levels of management. The environment is very demanding. Management uses a method called the feed back model to provide instant "constructive" feedback on every customer interaction. Stores get audited monthly to point our more things they could improve upon; there are monthly number meetings to tie the behaviors discussed with observation forms (feedback model) and in the audit to the stores performance. Lastly, there are endless customer service trainings called make a friend. They are occur once per month to work on how to handle various customer situations. Due to all the different ways feedback is given, numbers meetings, make a friends, audits, feedback model, the environment is overly negative. ALL feedback is documented meaning they can fire you at a mangers whim. It is hard to say the Cash Store is a resume builder, because of it's reputation as a pay day lender. People automatically think you are a slime ball.
