    I worked at Celergo full-time

    Pros

    - Casual atmosphere
    - Fun people, although this is changing for the worse
    - Will hire anyone (good for the job seeker, but not for the company)
    -If you are the right type of person you can succeed
    -There is potential for Celergo to become an industry leader...if it can ever sort itself out and stop making the same mistakes as it has for years

    Cons

    - Terrible at the supervisor level. All supervisors are the same, micromanages who say they want employees to grow, but really want thoughtless clones. Very little management experience outside of Celergo means all managers are the same and have little experience.
    - A culture of deadlines that leads to very stressful work weeks
    - Terrible IT. Upgrades have been promised for years but the same mistakes are made and nothing is delivered.
    - At least 50% turnover. Employee retention is low and not really a priority. If you are exactly the right type you can succeed, but if you are at all outside the Celergo profile you will go nowhere.
    - It once was a company where people worked hard for each other, now morale is low and the culture is very much CYA first, help others second
    - Poor financial health of the company means it might not last long. (two RIFs in 4 years)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    No one wants to sit and manually build spreadsheets for years on end. The CAM role is a complete morale destroyer and burns people out. Help people grow and unlock their talent and you will unlock the company's potential at long last.
