CRL is a great non-profit with passionate people who care about their mission.

    Pros

The work means something and everyone seems to feel that way. Regardless of their role, everyone agrees that the work is meaningful and the people are passionate about it. They are very understanding of work-life balance but work hard to earn that balance. The company cares about it's people and the people mostly unanimously are inspired by the founder and CEO, Martin Eakes. If you care about important social issues and making the world a better place, CRL is somewhere where you get the sense every day that you are doing just that.

    Cons

While the salary is competitive, it is still a non-profit and suffers from many issues that often plague non-profits including funding issues and bureaucratic approval processes. The blurriness of roles also makes it difficult sometimes.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Find ways to move faster on things. Be more agressive. You have an amazing opportunity to make an even greater impact than you already are. Take it. Continue to focus on your great work and your great people.
