I have been working at Centric Consulting

    Pros

Centric is a great place to work, especially for experienced professionals that want to consult but do not want to travel. The people at Centric are as high quality as you will find in any Tier 1 consulting firm or in management at Fortune 500 companies.

    Cons

Much of the work done at Centric is more like high quality staff augmentation than project work. Profit sharing is nice, but not as much as expected at more senior roles in comparison to industry. Similar issue with salary. Work / life balance is a big focus of Centric, but that is deteriorating as more business development and internal development work are being requested of staff. Some good people have left the company in the past few years.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Figure out why people have left and fix those problems.
Align salaries and bonus with similar roles in industry and at other firms.
Get executive leaders back into business development so billable resources can focus more on delivering solutions and bringing in talent.
