    I have been working at CenturyLink full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    The best PRO is that CTL and CTS(Savvis) still have some brand recognition.
    Another PRO is that the CTS leadership as a team is so dysfunctional and inexperienced that they don't realize how little everyone is working anymore. The entire sales team has lost the energy and enthusiasm of a decent team. That's what you get when you don't pay folks right....
    PRO - If you're not an "A" player then come hang out at CTS....no one will figure out that you're not working hard....you will fit right in with the long timers from Savvis....

    Cons

    COMPENSATION!!! Do not ever expect to get paid either on time or as expected for sales comp or bonuses. Simply won't happen. The comp team is so bad they can't even get commission statements produced months in arrears.
    BAD LEADERSHIP. No leader has any energy or enthusiasm left to actually fight for the needed changes that are necessary to win deals or be competitive. Every exec is either from. Microsoft or Oracle so no one understands how to position or sell a true solution much less a complex outsourcing deal. Complete clowns in place - wait until Dec 14 and the CTS leadership should get removed, then we will see if this place can actually get back to performance.
    NOT CUSTOMER OR DEAL FOCUSED. Everything is internally focused and broken. To say CTS has legacy systems would be an improvement. Still running off of basic excel files and the finance team has issues with pivot tables.... Go figure...
    MEDIOCRE PEOPLE - NO CULTURE. All of the top performers have left due to the comp issues so all that's left AE the poor and mediocre performers. CTS leadership doesn't even know what they don't know....

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    CTS leaders - Go back to Microsoft, Oracle and any other PRODUCT company that you came from - you don't get solution selling and outsourcing. To CTL leadership - please hire some leaders from IBM, HP, Accenture, PwC, EY, you get the point - people who have sold complex outsourcing solutions. Simply pay people accurately when you are supposed too. In 3+ years I haven't been paid on time 2 times in a row. Why is that?????? Comp team has more excuses than rice in China....
