    I have been working at

The culture is really exceptional. Unlike anywhere else I've worked. They haven't quite figured it all out yet, but the company really aspires to be in the "best place to work" category. It helps that the vast majority of the people there seem to be unusually bright and friendly. Be prepared to not be the smartest person in the room. :)

Also it's hard not to drink the Kool-Aid. The mission is really special and the company really could change the world. It's already starting to, and the execs say we're only just getting started. I believe that. It's a special place.

I love that it's such a global company (like 15 countries or something crazy like that). But it's weird sometimes having people so spread out. I suppose this is more of a plus than a minus but be prepared for lots of Skype calls and only seeing some colleagues once a year.

Also being a pioneer social venture means there's some tension between the mission and the business. It's inevitable and probably healthy but there's a lot to figure out. The leadership seems sincere in finding the right balance, but it's been a long process. Sometimes I think the company takes a harder road than necessary because of the mission and maybe because the company is very sensitive to criticism. It's on the right path and needs to stay focused.
