    I have been working at ChannelAdvisor full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    CEO is very knowledgeable, visionary and definitely possesses domain expertise here. But that's where the positives end.

    Cons

    Leadership teams are well in over their heads. Senior leadership may know the ecom business but have no clue how to run their functional areas. Especially services. Clearly no experience in services business.

    Jump down to director level and it just becomes a joke. Most are organically grown from within but have zero leadership background, skills or thought process. They hired one from the outside and he looked promising but quickly bailed because of this circus. No strategy all reactive. They throw the strategy word around but have no clue what that really means.

    Manager layer........"hey you've been here for a while and have been fairly average at your job, want to manage?"

    Business decisions are made from personal opinions, rather then any intelligence, and they change day to day depending on what the person is feeling that day.

    Hiring, mostly younger attractive women who can do no wrong because of the weak management.

    Kpis and goals unrealistic. They'll tell you one thing during your interview and then it changes when you're on board. Zero effort put into any plans to help you achieve your goals. They're just there. You figure it out.

    They win best place to work because there's no structure here and people get away with so much.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Sell the company. There's no hope. As soon as something becomes available I'm out of here.
