    I have been working at Charles River Laboratories full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    It's generally a flexible place to work, and gives people room and responsibility to get projects done as they see fit. Staff is great and cares.

    Cons

    Lacks big systems to deal with basically everything. Many "systems" are seat of the pants, with little consistency between staff members and departments.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Dedicate some money to upgrades and new equipment. Give bonuses. Make a sliding scale for raises.
