    Individuals are given considerable scope to exercise their business judgement and make their own decisions, and in this way are able to shine should they succeed. The company is unafraid of giving enthusiastic people considerable responsibility, and if you are so motivated, you really can make a difference


    one of the reasons the company is able to allow individuals such free reign is this lack of process, systems and structure, and this manifests itself in superficial bureaucracy - if you can overcome that, or bulldoze your way through, you'll be OK. if you are not the type of person that can assert yourself to get over the company's manifest shortcomings, you are likely to suffer...

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    invest in people, and make their jobs easier with better technology, and you'll have a fine company again. Hire external consultants to assist in a global retooling of the business systems, as without them you will find meeting Solvency II incredibly expensive and the laborious process of analysing your portfolios will result in blind risk-taking
