I have been working at Chicago Bridge & Iron full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

As the title said, good compensation, benefits and opportunites in leadership if you are willing to move and/or do an assignment in another country. Overseas assignment is great experience, but mostly for those that haven't started a family yet or are early in their career.

Company has grown considerably through acquisition and has really moved up in the EPC world to compete with the Bechtels, Fluors, Parsons, etc. They have also done a good job of rebranding over the years to get a way from the old "Chicago Bridge & Iron" to becoming one "CB&I".

    Cons

For a while there we mulitple layoffs for a lot of long term employees and that really shook things up a bit. Hopefully they have improved with how that is handled over the years.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat your employees as the company's best assets, some people in leadership have done well in doing that - but others need some work.

Communicate more and communicate often - that builds trust.
