I worked at Chicago Teachers' Pension Fund as an intern
It is easy to get to know everyone and make friends. Those friends can range from upper management to a regular employee. It is a great office culture, promoting the establishment of relationships between every body.
Most work assigned is grunt work as is usual for interns. There is no advancement in responsibility and most workers just want to keep you occupied as much as possible. Be wary of leisure time despite being there for a month or so. There will be a lot of free time with nothing to fill it.
